With a margin of 20 points over her closest rival, and the supposed front runner, Kathy’s campaign has gotten the attention of Democrats and Republicans alike. The overwhelming success of the primary is indicative of the type of hard work and success that Kathy has shown throughout her life.
Kathy Dahlkemper is the Director of the Lake Erie Arboretum at Frontier Park (LEAF) and Vice President of the LEAF Board of Directors. Since 1997, Kathy has secured over $2 million in public and private funding for the Arboretum. She coordinates daily operations at LEAF including programming, marketing, fundraising, site management and collaboration with government, civic and neighborhood partners.
Concurrently, Kathy serves as Director of Human Resources and special projects at Dahlkemper Landscape Architects & Contractors, a 52- year- old business owned by Kathy and her husband, Dan Dahlkemper. She has worked in various capacities within the business and has knowledge of the day-to-day operations.
