Let me be clear: I strongly believe in an individual's freedom to keep and bear arms as guaranteed in the Second Amendment. I believe that the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution guarantees your right to own and use firearms for self-defense and sport.

As the owner of a small business whose mission it is to preserve the beauty of our outdoors, I believe it is vital to preserve the best of our outdoor traditions like hunting and fishing.

I believe our nation's gun laws are sufficient and no further regulation is necessary for law-abiding citizens, who should not have to wait to buy firearms.

I believe that dangerous, violent felons forfeit their right to bear arms.

I agree with the Supreme Court when it struck down the District of Columbia's unconstitutional blanket ban on firearms, and I will support legislation in the United States Congress to restore Second Amendment rights to D.C. residents.

I oppose reductions in federal hunting acreage and will fight to ensure that opportunities for hunting and sport are maintained.
