In the 3rd Congressional District in Northwest Pennsylvania, Kathy Dahlkemper crushed Kyle Foust, the county councilman recruited by the national Democrats to run against incumbent U.S. Rep. Phil English. According to incomplete and unofficial results, Dahlkemper got 41,692 votes, 45 percent, while Foust finished second at 23, 974 votes, or 26 percent, followed by Tom Myers, 17,209 votes, 19 percent and Mike Waltner, 9,980 votes, 11 percent.
